The Ontario government has now come out with the Standard Offer Program to help homeowners and entrepreneurs invest in solar and wind electricity production.  This program will pay producers 42 cents/kWh for installed Solar PV, or 11 cents/kWh for Wind generated electricity.  This clean electricity can be used on-site and surplus power distributed to the electrical grid.

Electricity rates are increasing steadily and demand is at its highest ever.  This program will help to stabilize Ontario's electricity grid while providing income for it's renewable energy producers.
